JANET GENT As a tenant representative, Ms. Gent has advised and represented a variety of corporate clients, associations and non-profit entities with a wide range of size requirements concentrating on office, flex/warehouse and industrial space in both the Northern Virginia and Upstate South Carolina marketplaces. Her expertise provides clients with value added services by leading them through the process of site analysis, selection and final negotiations of lease/purchase transactions on both a local and national basis. She has an extensive knowledge of market conditions, building systems and the space planning process, which nets her clients significant savings in time and money. The value to the client is realized through the receipt of appropriate advice, uncompromising execution and protection of client interests. Ms. Gent attended James Madison University and East Tennessee State University, graduating with a B.S. in Political Science and History. Before moving to Greenville, SC from McLean, VA, Ms. Gent served on the Northern Virginia Technology Council, Board of Directors for Women in Technology, Ambassador to Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce, and Fundraising Committee of The International Children’s Festival, Wolf Trap Park, in Vienna, VA. Ms. Gent currently serves on the Board of Directors for the YWCA of Greenville and as a volunteer tutor with The Greenville Literacy Association.
