MARCUS CORNELIUS
Marcus Cornelius is the Senior Vice President of Coppedge & Tison’s Greenville/Spartanburg, South Carolina Operations. Mr. Cornelius specializes in representing both office and industrial corporate users. He is a licensed agent with over 10 years of commercial real estate experience in both Tenant and Landlord representation as well as acquisition and disposition work in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Prior to joining Coppedge & Tison, Mr. Cornelius gained extensive Landlord representation experience as a leasing and marketing representative in the Greenville market for Liberty Property Trust, an international Real Estate Investment Trust. Before relocating to South Carolina, Mr. Cornelius spent several years working with a large national brokerage company in the Central Florida market, where he specialized in office tenant representation. For the past 6 years, Mr. Cornelius has focused his attention on the office and industrial sectors of Greenville/Spartanburg and the surrounding areas of Upstate South Carolina. Mr. Cornelius joined Coppedge & Tison, formerly Commercial Carolina Corporation, in 2002 to open up the Greenville/Spartanburg office and to grow their core business in the upstate. Mr. Cornelius received his BA in Business Administration from Flagler College in St. Augustine in 1992. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Greenville and a prior member of their business and economic development arm "300 for Greenville". He is a licensed real estate agent in both South Carolina and Florida. He is a member of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Greenville and volunteers with several non-profit organizations in the area.
